Rebecca Mills (The Caution Curves, Gestures) has graced us with a lovely mix for volume 13 in the pause tape series, entitled, “Eating a Volcano.” Download it, enjoy it, tell all of your friends about it. And as always, all of the previous volumes, 1-12, are available in the archive.

Resolute

— sleepy jean @ 10:24 pm

Good things are happening in the New Year, and we figure its time to fill you in. Hopefully you and your friends enjoyed the new releases from Stamen & Pistilsand Radel Esca over the holidays. Now we are working on the next batch of releases for you. Currently in the pipeline we have a new album from Person, a new band helmed by Miguel Lacsamana (Stamen & Pistils, Metropolitan). An electro-funk-indie-pop-dance party, this band sounds like the Postal Service remixed by the Neptunes. The album is currently being mastered, and we’ll have some songs for you to listen to very soon. Stay tuned, the album drops this spring. The band is rounded out by John Masters (Metropolitan, Portions Toll), on drums and Brendan Kalber (Travis Morrison’s Hellfighters) on keys.
