This Friday, Stamen & Pistils come out of hiding to share the stage with Beach House for the final show of their tour. DC is overflowing with cool things to do on Friday night, but we think this might be the show you want to be at. San Francisco’s Papercuts round out the bill. On a related note, I sat down this week with the kids at Brightest Young Things to discuss a few of the tracks off of Towns.

Don’t forget to pick up the Christopher (Andrew) Stelloh record if you haven’t already. Chris has got his band together preparing to grace the world with some live shows this summer, starting in may. More details on that as they develop, so stay tuned.

Our boys Deleted Scenes are putting the finishing touches on their debut album. This is definitely one to jump on as soon as it comes out, but in the meantime, amble on over to their MySpace page and enjoy a few of their tunes. They’ve got a couple of shows lined up as well, so catch them if you can.

things have been really busy around here, but they are moving. Thanks to everyone who came through to Marquis last Thursday. Special thanks to People’s Champion for rocking the crowd. Don’t forget to keep your calendars marked for last Thursdays at Napoleon, Marquis is going strong and is only going to get better.
